today would actually be the most memorable day i had... well... it was pretty much the follow up from yesterday.
jk came over to my place in the evening.. but before that i went over to my gramps with my cousin, melissa to get her asthma puff and also to visit my grandma for a bit. and since he was early, i told him to pop by my gramps' place to visit her... so he came... hahas. and before he came, my uncle came. so yeah. it was hilarious. my uncle, as usual, would offer drinks to us.. i managed to reject the drink but he couldn't get away... so my uncle poured him a whiskey soda. hahahas... and after he finished, offered to pour him more. totally hilarious.
after some time, we left cos we wanted to go running before it turned too dark... my cuz joined us for the run and so did my brother after convincing him to. at first we were running along fine... until my cousin started getting breathless... i had to follow her since she has asthma and i was worried that she would get an attack. justin and jk went ahead 1st...
soon we caught up with them.. and justin by then had already burnt out.. so we left my cousin and justin together and we went ahead. gosh. my stamina was so bad man! that's cos i haven't been exercising for sometime. i seemed to have lost it. danngs. i made several stops and i was practically suffering in pain... =/ din run much that night.
after i got home, baby went out to get my bro and cousin.. but only to realise that they were already at home. hahahahs. but he din mind cos he wanted to run more anyways.
had a shower and then a rushed dinner cos i had to go to work. called a cab.. my mom came along as well cos she wanted to go and buy some stuff at toa payoh. went early cos my mom was afraid that the shop would have closed by then. walked with them for a bit then they followed me up to the office. did what i had to do and left...
while waiting for a cab at the taxi stand, my mom and jk were taking turns to tell jokes. hahas. we had a laughing good time. =) my mom laughed her lungs out man. we got so sick of waiting for cabs that we decided to call.. and even still, it wasn't easy to get a cab. but eventually we did. some people in the queue gave up as well...
my mom asked him to stay over.. cos she promised to cook him herbal chicken but she didnt have enough time to cook it for dinner.. so if he stayed over, we can have it for supper. so he stayed.. yayy!!
the next day, they went to church without me.. i went over to his place... and then took a ride from his parents to the hospital since they were also headed to ttsh to visit his great grandma. after they got out of the lift at level 5, i proceeded to level 8 to visit my grandma. she looked so much better already. so glad... she looked terrible the last time i saw her.
shortly after, baby messaged me to say that his parents wanted to come up to visit my grandma. hahas. but they were too paiseh cos they din bring anything. told them to come up and they din have to bring anything. it was the thought that counts.
and then the most hilarious moment came... when both our parents met. hahahas. it was damn awkward at first. but then it got damn funny. his parents are hokkien speaking while my mom is teochew. well.. if you din know, hokkien and teochew sounds a lot alike except for some variations of some words. it was so funny. like he said, it's like a chicken and a duck communicating with each other. and guess what? the funny thing is that they seem to understand each other and they went non-stop talking for 1hr!!! OMG.. we were just laughing in the background. and they talked like they knew each other for donkey years. hahahahas. funny.
after that his mom offered to send us to town since my mom and i wanted to go there to buy stuff at the popular in orchard mrt. so before we left, we went down to visit his great grandma... awww man... it's heart wrenching to see the state she's in. she's 99 yrs old and uncommunicative already. danngs. =//
baby followed us cos my dad wanted to take us all out for dinner that night. ;) steamboat and crab! weeeee.... awww man.. i ate so bloody much. dinner ended at bout... 8+ . so we decided to go walk around since both me and my brothers wanted to buy some stuff as well. after that we dropped my mom and brothers home and my dad sent him back to camp.
what a wonderful day.... xD
